Indy man sentenced for peeping at mall

A southside man who police said watched a woman changing in a dressing room was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison.

Christopher Stone, 23, 8817 Summer Walk Drive, Indianapolis, was found guilty in a two-day trial in January of a charge of voyeurism and probation violation. He also was sentenced to six months on home detention and one year on probation, according to the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office.

According to police reports, Stone used a cellphone to watch a woman changing clothes in a dressing room at Greenwood Park Mall in April. The woman told police she saw someone holding a phone over the top of the wall. Surveillance videos showed a man running out of the dressing room.

Stone was arrested in June after police received a tip that helped identify him.
