To the editor:
As usual, Ann McFeatters is right on in her column in (the Feb. 19) Daily Journal.
As (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”
What exactly are we afraid of besides anyone different from ourselves? Why? How does their difference hurt us?
From gender, skin color, birthplace, religious belief, whatever, how does that affect us?
Can we begin to start by beginning to practice what we preach and try to live by the Golden Rule and treat others as we would like to be treated? Think about it.
