To the editor:

We are asked to write our representatives if we want to voice our concerns. Last month, I sent the following message to my House and Senate representatives, to the leadership of the House and Senate and to the new governor.

To date I have received no response from anyone. I guess there are some things they don’t want to hear.

Tax season is upon us; and as a licensed tax preparer, I will see the sad spectacle of elderly women and men coming to get their state taxes paid on their meager pensions. This annual tragedy underscores the fact that Indiana is a terrible place for seniors.
