Letter: School needs to adopt handicap guidelines

To the editor:

I attended the graduation of my son from Center Grove High School on May 31. My complaint is the way the handicapped parents get seats. As a handicapped parent, I had to sit in the handicap section five rows back with a slim view of the stage behind obvious grandparents. Handicapped parents should be given seats closest to the ceremony, not seats behind grandparents.

After the parents get seated then everyone else should get seated. This first-come, first-served system is not fair to the handicapped parents of the graduating students.
