Conner Andersen’s love of tennis is rooted in the hit-arounds he and his brother had with their father, Kim, as children.
“We would always play at Craig Park and then go over and get ice cream afterward, so it’s always been fun,” said the No. 1 singles player for Center Grove’s boys tennis team. “I’ve probably been playing since I was 5 or 6 but was about 9 when I started playing competitively.”
For the second time in three years, an Andersen has advanced to the state singles finals with Conner, a junior, scheduled to be among the six finalists at Park Tudor High School.
