Police seeking pair in string of vehicle break-ins
Franklin police are asking for help finding two people they say have been breaking into vehicles and stealing debit and credit cards.
Police think the pair were involved in six thefts around central Indiana between Sept. 18 and Oct. 4, including one from a Franklin parking lot Sept. 28.
In that case, an employee from a pharmacy at 11 N. Morton St. reported that the window of her car had been broken and her purse was stolen. She had credit and debit cards in her purse and told police whoever stole them began using them the day of the theft, a Franklin Police Department report said.
Police have surveillance photos of the two people they think used the stolen debit and credit cards at central Indiana stores. If anyone recognizes either person from the photos, they are asked to contact Franklin Police Department detective Scott Carter at 736-3670.
