A Bargersville resident died after suffering injuries when his mo-ped was struck by another vehicle more than a week ago.
Quentin Leonard, 21, had been hospitalized since Aug. 20, when he was struck by a car while driving a mo-ped on U.S. 31 near Edinburgh. He died from his injuries on Thursday at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, according to a news release from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
No cause of death was available. The Marion County Coroner’s Office was planning an autopsy, Sheriff Doug Cox said.
Leonard worked at Cooper Tire Co. in Franklin and had attended Center Grove High School, where he played football and wrestled. Family members said he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
His parents and his twin brother live in Bargersville.
