An Indianapolis woman was arrested after police say she drove over and killed her fiance in the parking lot of a southside bar.

Donna Miner, 50, 707 Daffon Drive, was arrested on a felony charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence causing death. Police took Miner to a hospital to have her blood drawn for a blood-alcohol test. She told police she had three drinks and a shot in about four hours at the bar, according to a police report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Police said she struck and killed Jeffrey Hawkins, 50, Indianapolis, at That Place Bar & Grill, at County Line Road and Emerson Avenue. She lived with Hawkins on the southside and told police they were engaged to be married, the report said.
