Two local marching bands placed in the top 10 at the Bands of America Super Regional Championships during the weekend in Indianapolis.
The Center Grove Marching Trojans earned fifth place in the finals, while Greenwood placed 10th.
Both bands will participate in the Indiana State School Music Association semi-state competition Saturday, where the top 10 bands in each class earn bids to the state finals Nov. 3.
