Marijuana aroma leads to charges for Edinburgh man

After an Edinburgh police officer smelled marijuana in a house, officers returned for a search later and found multiple kinds of drugs.

Police arrested Jeffrey S. Vincent, 36, on two charges of possession of cocaine, narcotics or methamphetamine and charges of unlawful sale of a legend drug, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Officers went to the house in the 400 block of Center Park Drive at 5 p.m. Monday when an ambulance was called for a woman who was unresponsive. An officer smelled burned marijuana while inside the house, Edinburgh Police Chief David Mann said.
