Greenwood Meals on Wheels is in need of volunteers to deliver hot meals at midday.
The meals are delivered on five routes five days a week to shut-ins and senior citizens. Each route takes about an hour to complete.
Drivers should be prepared to volunteer at least one day a month, but drivers are needed on a weekly basis.
Organizations and churches are encouraged to consider providing volunteers to cover a route on a continuing basis.
Drivers are provided with detailed directions and instructions for each client when they pick up the meals.
The program also is seeking
an assistant director to help schedule drivers and interview new clients.
