People caring for patients with Alzheimer’s disease can receive support from a new group in Greenwood.
The group will meet at 7 p.m. the first Friday of every month at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian St.
A trained leader will facilitate a meeting that gives caregivers an opportunity to share their experiences and receive support from others coping with Alzheimer’s disease.
During the meetings, caregivers are encouraged to share information, give and receive support and exchange coping experiences and strategies.
Meetings are free and open to the public.
