New street drugs focus of community forum

Johnson County law enforcement officials will host a community forum today at Greenwood Christian Church on the effects of a new street drug.

The drug, known as N-Bomb, is similar to LSD and affects users with a hallucinogenic high. Dangerous side effects include distorted vision, auditory difficulties, dizziness, impaired coordination and increased heart rate and blood pressure, as well as violent episodes.

The drug is sold as a white powder and can be sold as a liquid and mixed with alcohol or energy drinks.

The forum will be at 6 p.m. at 2045 Averitt Road.
