Nonprofit groups can sell their favorite food while educating the public about their services.

The groups are needed for the Favorite Food Fair sponsored by the Leadership Johnson County group Helping Others Help Others.

The fair will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 27 in Scott and Herring halls at the Johnson County fairgrounds in Franklin.

The fair is an opportunity for nonprofits in the county to sell their favorite food and reach out to the community about their services, according to a news release from Leadership Johnson County.

Helping Others Help Others is accepting registrations for booth space through April 1. Registration is $35, or $50 for a trailer.

The event will be open to the public to support their favorite organization or to purchase their favorite food.
