A property once slated for a Cabela’s store at Graham and County Line roads in Greenwood is being divided for possible stores, restaurants and hotels.
Having the property platted, or divided into blocks, should make the approximately 100 acres easier to sell, said Scott Langdon, who is marketing the property for its owners.
A preliminary plat, such as the one Langdon’s group is applying for, shows where streets and other infrastructure will be on the property, city senior planner Bill Peeples said.
County Line 101 Partners LLC, a group of local investors, bought the land in 2010 from Cabela’s. The hunting and fishing gear retailer had planned to build a large store on the site but gave up the project about six years ago.
