Performers sought for talent showcase

Performers are wanted for the Greenwood’s Got Talent Showcase, part of the Greenwood Parks & Recreation Department’s Fall Mini-Festival.

Auditions for singers, dancers, comedians and bands are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Sept. 19 at the Greenwood Community Center, 100 Surina Way.

Those who make the cut will advance to perform at the showcase from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Greenwood Amphitheater, 300 S. Washington St. There is no fee to audition.

The showcase is part of the Greenwood Fall Mini-Festival, which will include local artists’ work for display and sale, the Greenwood Trail Trek 5K road race and free Introduction to Drawing classes.
