Police: Home robbed during daylight




Police are asking for any information about a home break-in that happened in daylight Friday on a busy street in Franklin.

A couple in the 2600 block of West State Road 44 reported before 4 p.m. that someone had thrown a brick through their home’s sliding glass door and stolen a television, jewelry box and coins, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

The crime happened sometime after 7:20 a.m. when the residents left the home.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 346-4604.
