Three Johnson County residents returned to their homes Friday and Saturday to find jewelry, a safe and cash had been stolen.
Police say the same person most likely broke into two of the homes that were in the same area east of Franklin, but they are unsure if another burglary southwest of Franklin is related, said Maj. Bob Sexton, chief of investigations for the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
The burglaries were reported:
- About 1 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of S. County Road 700E
- About 3 p.m. Friday in the 7300 block of E. County Road 50N
