Residents can learn about a plan to expand mass transit in central Indiana at an upcoming meeting.
The proposed Indy Connect plan would add five rapid transit lines, possibly including one between Greenwood and Carmel, double the local bus service and add express bus routes.
Mass transit advocates are discussing the exact routes, the number and locations of station stops, whether light rail or bus rapid transit would be used along different routes and if the vehicles would operate in new or existing lanes of city streets.
