Clare Murphy’s idea of blockbuster entertainment has all of the elements needed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
The best plots are filled with love, betrayal, jealousy and conflict. But she doesn’t find it on the big screen.
Rather, Murphy gets the most interesting stories in the myths and fables of her native Ireland and from all over the world.
“It’s very visceral, very ritualistic, and every culture has a mythology. I find that dynamic to be very engaging,” she said.
