From inside the glowing red furnace, Matt Kenyon pulled his latest creation into the cool March air.
The Indianapolis glassblower had been crafting an orange and white vase. Repeatedly, he fired the glass urn in temperatures greater than 2,000 degrees.
When the material was malleable, he would shape it, spin it and slice it with special tools.
