The Retired Indiana Public Employees Association will celebrate a milestone this month.
The nonprofit association that lobbies for public employees’ retirement benefits will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Sept. 10.
The celebration will honor retired and active public service workers in Indiana.
The event will be at the association’s annual convention from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Primo Convention Hall, 2615 National Ave., Indianapolis.
Speakers will include governor candidates, Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Pence and former Indiana House Speaker Democrat John Gregg. State Rep. Woody Burton, State Sen. Karen Tallian and Ray Boomhower also will attend.
