A benefit ride and cookout to help pay an Edinburgh man’s medical expenses will be Saturday.
Jim’s Ride and Cookout is set to leave at 11 a.m. from Tasty Shop Tavern, 510 Center Cross St., Edinburgh.
Registration is 9 to 11 a.m. at the tavern. Cost is $15 per bike and $5 per rider. A meal after the ride will be $6 for nonriders. Raffles, entertainment and door prize giveaways are also planned.
Proceeds from the event will go to Jim Pass, who is fighting bone and lung cancer.
