Police searched a Greenwood home Tuesday morning and arrested three people as part of a methamphetamine investigation.
Douglas Wayne Ford, 48, Scott A. Tompkins, 28, and Sheree Hill, 25, all of 1264 Joy Court, Greenwood, were arrested after police searched the home Tuesday morning.
SWAT team officers were called to assist in the search and arrest because police believed that Tompkins had a gun at the home. Sheriff Doug Cox said the three were arrested without any struggle, and no gun was found at the home.
The three were arrested after an undercover investigation. Police searched the house and arrested Ford, Tompkins and Hill. During the search, police found 17 plastic bags containing a total of 5 grams of methamphetamine, according to the police report.
Ford was arrested on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia and two charges of dealing methamphetamine.
Tompkins was arrested on a charge of possession with intent to deal methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance and two charges of conspiracy to deal methamphetamine.
Hill was arrested on charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
The Johnson County prosecutor will decide what, if any, charges to file.
They were taken to the Johnson County jail. Ford was held on $77,000 bond, Tompkins was held on $24,000 bond and Hill was held on $5,000 bond.
