Scholarship awarded honoring 2 Indy EMTs

An emergency medical technician has been awarded a scholarship in memory of two Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services workers who died last year.

Nicole Hall, an emergency medical technician, has received the first McCormick & Medley Memorial Scholarship. She will use the scholarship to receive paramedic training through the Eskenazi Health Paramedic Science Program, according to an Indianapolis EMS news release.

The memorial scholarship was created in honor of Pvt. Tim McCormick of Greenwood and Spc. Cody Medley of Indianapolis. They were killed last year in a vehicle accident involving their ambulance.
