Gardeners can get a jump on the spring planting season by starting seedlings indoors.

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, the last frost for this area will occur about April 18.
If you like to start your own garden plants from seed indoors, hopefully you’ve already begun.
Although there still is time for certain cucurbit type plants such as squash, pumpkins, melons and cucumbers, notice that the plants in this group are annual vines, so plan ahead to have space for these to expand outside this summer.
