CJ’s Consignments in Franklin is conducting its second bra-decorating contest to raise money for awareness and prevention of breast cancer.
The decoration of the bras can be as creative as participants choose. Decorative themes should portray hope, perseverance and support.
Registration is $5. All entries are to be created on a new bra. CJ’s Consignments has a limited number of bras available and can be purchased at the time of registration for $5.
Participates can register and pick up their packet until Sept. 30 at the store, 219 W. Jefferson St. in downtown Franklin.
Decorated bras can be submitted to CJ’s Consignments from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 1 through 6. Bras will be displayed at the shop through most of October.
Residents can vote for their favorite creations. All votes cost $1 or six votes for $5. Awards will be given for first, second and third place.
All proceeds collected will go toward Women’s Health Services for uninsured patients of Windrose Health Network.
