The Speedway connection: Quarterback, receiver teamed up in high school

Kyle Linville and Jonny West have been friends since elementary school.
They grew up playing sports together, were football teammates for the first time in sixth grade, were standout athletes at Speedway High School and have been roommates at Franklin College for three years.
They also have a family connection through marriage. Linville’s sister is married to West’s brother.
Little wonder, then, the junior duo have a synergy on the football field that fuels the Grizzlies’ high-octane offense.
