Call it trickle-down economics, football style.

With the pending shake-ups and conference realignments propelled by the creation of a sixth class next season, it should create an opportunity for Class 3A Indian Creek to find an opening in a conference more befitting its size and athletics prowess.

The Braves are simply too good to remain in the Mid-Indiana Football Conference with its membership of four Class A schools.

Indian Creek takes the field tonight with a chance to avenge last season’s road loss at Milan. Count on the Braves’ determination. That bump stands out as Indian Creek’s only defeat by a current conference opponent since 2003.
