A building that used to house Franklin city offices was damaged last month.

Windows were broken at the former Franklin city hall, 55 W. Madison St.

On Sept. 21, police were called to the building, which has been vacant since city offices moved out in 2009. They found windows on the front door and in the basement had been broken, according to a Franklin Police Department report.

Police do not believe anyone got into the building, the report said.
