Woman sought in robbery at Greenwood gas station

Police are seeking a woman who robbed a Greenwood gas station over the weekend.

A clerk at Thorntons told police he was mopping inside the store, 1600 U.S. 31 South, about 5 a.m. Sunday when a woman dressed in black came inside.

The woman, who was thin, about 30 years old and had her face covered, demanded money, according to a police report. The woman told the clerk to empty the register and implied she had a gun without showing him any weapons, the report said. She also said she had someone who was armed and waiting in a car outside, the report said.
