A Center Grove High School drummer will play with the U.S. Army All-American Band.
Geoffrey Jones plays snare drum and was selected to play in the band at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, according to a news release from the U.S. Army All-American Band.
The announcement was made at the high school Wednesday.
Jones will be part of a band of 125 high school musicians from across the country who will perform during the halftime show.
Musicians are chosen for having musical talent and demonstrating values including loyalty and respect, the release said.
