INDIANAPOLIS
Joe Edward Gerber, 81, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include four children, Christine Shelton, and Richard, Vicki and John (Angie) Gerber; two brothers; two sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Floyd Gerber; his wife, Wanda Ann Gerber; and three sisters.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Round Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
