Curtis Douglas “Doug” Southwood, 52, died Wednesday Aug. 29, 2012, in Normal, Ill. He was a resident of Illinois and a former resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include his parents, Curtis H. and Emilee (Richardson) Southwood; three children, Richard Southwood, Shannon (Steve) Johnson and Kelly (Tommy) Nichols; a brother, Dwayne (Lana) Southwood; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Mae (Brown) Southwood; a brother, Richard H. Southwood; and a grandson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, 375 E. Southport Road, Indianapolis. Burial will be at Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, Ky. Visitation was Friday.
Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, is handling arrangements.
