Mary Louise Furnish
 

Mary Louise Furnish, 93, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of the Franklin United Methodist Community.

She was born Dec. 24, 1918, to Walter and Ethel McLin in Dugger. She married William Gordon Furnish on May 6, 1948. He preceded her in passing Oct. 29, 1988.

Mr. and Mr. Furnish lived in Fairbanks, Alaska, and Seattle for most of their lives. She was a retired manager of Lerner Department Store in Seattle.

Mary Louise moved to Franklin in 1989 and moved to the Franklin United Methodist Community in October 1998.

She is survived by a niece, Judy Jo Vandivier Scott and husband, Lin; and grandnephew and grandniece, Dan (Rhonda) Vandivier and Stacy (Danny) Duckworth; and great-grandnephews and great-grandniece, Dalton Duckworth, Clayton Duckworth, Lindsay Vandivier, Jacob Vandivier and Matt McCarthy.

A graveside service will be conducted today at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
