Connie La-Dee Fergason, 75, of Franklin, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.
She was born May 12, 1937, in Indianapolis to Paul and Marcia Lucille (Hardin) Neese.
She married Paul E. Fergason on Jan. 1, 1957, at First Baptist Church in Franklin. He survives.
She was a 1955 graduate of Franklin High School.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklin.
She enjoyed crocheting, hummingbirds and all animals, her pond and flowers. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and baby-sitting.
She had worked for Western Electric in Indianapolis, Indiana Gas Co. in Franklin and Ginger Bread Day Care in Franklin.
Survivors include her husband, Paul E. Fergason of Franklin; two daughters, Jodi L. Fergason and Soni R. Mitchell (John), both of Franklin; a son, David Andrew “Andy” Fergason (Mary A. Facemire) of Franklin; grandsons, Andrew White of the U.S. Army, stationed in Afghanistan, and Joseph Mitchell of Franklin; and a great-grandchild Ghianna White. She also had received into her family Candy Rockemann of Franklin and Caroline Fisher of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Larry Neese.
The Rev. Linda McCrea will conduct a private service. A private burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center in Franklin is handling arrangements.
