Iva Jane Jordan, 98, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She was born Oct. 10, 1913, in Gallatin, Tenn., to the late William and Manurva (Hogan) Barnes.
She married Elvin B. Jordan on Dec. 13, 1935, in Nashville, Tenn. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Iva was a homemaker and a member of First Church of The Nazarene in Greenwood.
She is survived by a son, Larry W. (Joan) Jordan; a daughter, Beverly J. (Mike) Wiley; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, JoAnn Snyder.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
