Jean Esther Richards of Tallahassee, Fla., 81, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Franklin and relocated to Tallahassee, Fla., with her husband and two sons in 1970. She was a loyal member of Evangel Assembly. Her family is extremely grateful for the support given to her by members of Evangel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Richards.
She is survived by her sister, Lillian (Ted) McCann; two sons, Tim and Terry (Kelly) Richards; and four grandsons, Cameron, Justin, Jackson and Caleb.
Funeral services were Monday in the chapel of Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Nineveh Cemetery under the direction of Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin.
