Lawrence N. “Larry” Wamsley, 89, died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at his residence in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Wamsley; daughter, Sandra Wamsley; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Claiborn (Alice) Wamsley, Eileen Irrgang, Don (Virginia) Wamsley and Marilyn (Robert) Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William G. and Ruby Mae Wamsley.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Big Cedar Cemetery in Brookville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or your local Humane Society, in care of the funeral home.
