Lanna R. Farley, 71, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born May 30, 1941, in Indianapolis to the late William and Velma Newman.
She married Glenford Farley on Aug. 15, 1980, and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Lisa (Wayne) Walters, Laurie (Mike) Tamer, Mike Hyatt, Melissa Mendel, C.J. Farley and Maggie Farley; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Lee and Bill Newman.
Lanna retired from the Beech Grove Public Library as a circulation supervisor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Greenwood and enjoyed reading and making jewelry.
Pastor Tom Bridges will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service time Saturday at the funeral home. Lanna will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery.
