David “Dave” Coller, 81, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, in Franklin. He was a resident of Bargersville.
He was born on Nov. 6, 1930, in Indianapolis.
His parents were David Frank and Mary (Waidlick) Coller.
He married Linda Norton on Oct. 22, 1988, and she survives in Bargersville, along with three stepdaughters, Rhonda Wheeler of Franklin, Debbie Whitney of Indianapolis and Phyllis O’Rourke of Bargersville. He also is survived by three stepgrandsons, Austin Wheeler, Brad Wheeler and Christopher Whitney; and a great-stepgranddaughter.
He was preceded in passing by a daughter, Cheryl Lynn.
Dave served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1953.
He retired from an Allison division of General Motors in 1985 after 33 years as a tool and die maker.
He was a member of Providence Christian Church.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
