Paula Jo Ane Ford Hedge, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 24, 1943, in the city of Watertown, N.Y., to Kathleen and Paul Ford.
She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Franklin, where she was an active volunteer in parish events and the St. Thomas Clinic. She worked as an administrative assistant for Dr. Clarence Thomas for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl J. Hedge; and is survived by her children, Kelly Irwin, Shannon Snyder, Tom (Julie) Hedge, Maggie (Gavin) Merriman and Rose (Aaron) Glauberman; nine grandchildren, Alexis Irwin, Rachel, Ryan, Jessica and Bailey Snyder, Ethan Hawkins, Aspen and Arabella Hedge, and Darby Merriman; and three siblings, Christopher (Michelle) Ford, Lorna (Frank) Thomas and Duncan Ford.
Friends and family will gather for visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. (U.S. 31 South) in Indianapolis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 600 Paul Hand Blvd. (County Road 400N) in Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Thomas Clinic in care of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
