L. Loretta Hughey, 91, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012.
She was born July 12, 1921, in Bargersville to the late Walter Thomas and Sarah Catherine Dupree Cornelius.
She married William A. Hughey on Aug. 18, 1940; and he preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1999.
She is survived by a son, Randy (Chris) Hughey of Greenwood; two daughters, Lynda Kay (Sid) Prather and Terri (Dan) Armstrong, both of Greenwood; and 35 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Hughey; five brothers; and four sisters.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave. Visitation was Wednesday. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
