Catherine E. Fisher, 79, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Franklin. She was a resident of Edinburgh.
She was born May 5, 1933, in Adair County, Ky., to the late John Denton and Rissie (Conover) Denton.
She is survived by her husband, Cicil Fisher; children, Harold Ray (Patricia) Fisher of Edinburgh, Tina Wilemon of Franklin and Carolyn (Mark) McCleery and Connie (Rex) Lock, both of Edinburgh; two siblings, Bertha (James) Cox of Edinburgh and Helen Denton of Columbia, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five siblings, Robert, James and Arnold Denton, Ethel Pearl Camel and Mary Carter.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Who So Ever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Drive, Edinburgh, with Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the church.
