Mary E. (Allender) Kirts-Brown, 92, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Brown County Health and Living Center in Nashville. She was a resident of Brown County.
Survivors include four children, Nancy Williams of Inverness, Fla., Marcus (Nancy) and Donald (Phyllis) D. Kirts, both of Morgantown, and Robert (Mary) Kirts of St. Mary’s, Idaho; three stepchildren, Cathy (Jack) Baylor of Milan, Darwin “Butch” (Alice) Brown of Columbus and Gary (Jan) Brown of Terre Haute; three sisters, Dolly (Norman) Wodtke of Plainfield, Irene Schroeder of Nashville and Beryl Deckard of Inverness, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ruth (Snyder) Allender; husbands, Toby Kirts and Earl Brown; one sister, Mabel Tucker; and three brothers, Glen, George and Bob Allender.
The Rev. Tim Conboy will conduct a funeral service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation and Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St., Morgantown. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness, Fla.
