Sara Jane Lowden Holmes, 87, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. She was a resident of Franklin.
She is survived by her husband, John Copeland Holmes; two daughters, Suzy (Carl) Mills of Carmel and Kathy (Jim) Emison of Birmingham, Ala.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Lowden Holmes.
A graveside service and burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin.
