Pearl “Polly” (Lawson) Shepherd, 85, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, in Plainfield. She was a resident of Plainfield.
Survivors include two children, William Lee (Lori) Gates of Nebraska and Robert Terry (Nancy) Gates of Florida; stepson Paul (Catherine) Shepherd; a brother, Charles L. (Mary Ann) Lawson of Plainfield; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everitt and Myrtle (Denny) Lawson; her husband, Charlie Shepherd; and a brother, William Doug Lawson.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
