Margaret Ellen “Mommo” Whitteberry was born June 21, 1940, to William and Agnes (Burns) Doering.
Margaret lived in Broad Ripple and was a hairdresser for 50 years.
She married Ray Whitteberry on Oct. 16, 1971.
She was a member of Broad Ripple United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Sara (Mark) Vorhies; five grandchildren, Chris (Meredith), Kyle (Selina), Jack, Troy and Ellen Vorhies; and one great-granddaughter, Ava Elizabeth Vorhies.
Margaret has requested that no flowers be sent in her memory.
A private memorial service will be conducted Wednesday.
