Richard A. Phillips Jr., 53, died Monday Oct. 15, 2012, in Orlando, Fla. He was a resident of Florida.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Lane Phillips of Florida; his mother, Nancy (Morton) Phillips of Greenwood; his stepmother, MaryAnn Phillips of Indianapolis; seven children, Kelly L. (Steve) Eickleberry of Indianapolis, Richard A. (Trixie) Phillips III of Shelbyville, Nicholas P. (Amy) Phillips of Whiteland, Joshua W. (Ashley) Phillips of Fairland, Zach Reynolds of Florida and Sheila West and Christina Staddon, both of North Carolina; two sisters, Debbie (Mike) Phillips-Orr of Avon and Dawn Phillips of Greenwood; and 19 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Phillips Sr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
