Nina E. Hire, 93, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra (Steve) Couch and Kathy Swonder; eight granddaughters; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Guy H. Hire; five sisters; two brothers; and a son, Gerald W. Hire.
A funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
